Child Care Fee Subsidies
Subsidies are available for children ranging in age from infant to 12 years of age, where the parent(s) is/are employed or enrolled in an educational or re-training program.
Subsidy is also available to children with special needs who have been identified by social agencies or medical professionals.
Approval of subsidy is based on the financial eligibility criteria set out by the Ministry of Education and the "eligible hours" of the parent(s). Eligible hours are the hours which a parent is unavailable to care for child(ren) due to participation in education or employment.
